Packaging sizes were more reasonable in decades past but as the world has become more globalized the importance of consumerism has heightened
In a global society where manufactures are less concerned about quality and more interested in how the product looks this is becoming the norm. Let’s take Walmart for example, they are often the cheapest place to buy a lot of products but they have refused for the most part to bring in healthier products with less packaging.
We may finally realizing some improvement in this area though as many consumers are tired of needlessly destroying the environment. Yet, often smaller packaged products can only be found at specialized stores and will cost you more.
Although packaging size often seem out of control, there are solutions that can eventually slow and eliminate this type of waste altogether.
